Kylie Ohlmiller was the first overall selection by the WPLL Fight in the 2018 Women’s Professional Lacrosse League draft. Called a “human highlight reel” by espnW, Ohlmiller had one of the best collegiate lacrosse careers in NCAA history while attending Stony Brook University.
Ohlmiller earned All-American status in all four seasons of competition on her way to breaking the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse career records for points and assists. Kylie started KO17 Lacrosse with a mission of inspiring the next generation to dream big, work hard, and add a little flavor to their game. Marie McCool was the second overall selection by the WPLL Brave in the 2018 WPLL draft. Marie has earned all-star recognition in each of her first two WPLL professional seasons in addition to receiving the distinction of 2018 WPLL Finals MVP. Marie has also earned a gold medal as a member of the 2017 US Lacrosse World Cup championship team.
A three-time All-American at the University of North Carolina, Marie was twice a Tewaarton Award finalist and was the ILWomen 2018 Midfielder of the year for the Tar Heels. And Marie loves carne asada tacos.
