Zero out of pocket expenses
St. Lucie West Centennial High School Jr ROTC set up their Snap! Raise fundraiser with the goal to make sure students had no out-of-pocket expenses -
"Raise enough funds to cover all relevant JROTC expenses such as our military ball, competitions, equipment, and uniforms for all cadets of our JROTC program."
Being part of JROTC provides kids the opportunity to be a part of a character building program fueled by leadership, accountability, discipline, and team first mentality.
They raised an impressive $29,040, beating their $20k goal!
What to do when you raise 6x your goal!?
Cypress Bay High School DECA program absolutely obliterated their target goal of $10k by raising $61,000 in just 28 days. Beyond covering their program budget, they were able to cover all the expenses to fly the largest group of kids ever to nationals AND they did it in the most memorable way. Instead of flying directly to Anaheim, CA, they flew to San Francisco, rented a bus and drove down the Pacific Coast Highway.
