Lights for their field, ALS Foundation Donation, Team Gear and more
Newton South Girls Soccer ran an impressive fundraiser with Snap! Raise. All of Newton South's turf teams came together to raise money ($60k!) for stadium lights so that teams didn't have to cut practice short, or play over each other while trying to fit all practices into daylight hours. They now have open access to their field for more hours of the day, giving their teams the ability to focus on training vs scheduling conflicts.
Additionally, they also donated a portion of their money to the ALS foundation, funded team gear and team bonding nights. The impact and scale that $22,000 has on a team can go a long way.
Fundraising opens doors and offers new opportunities.
North Andover Girls Lacrosse team raised $11,619 to cover the cost of traveling to Baltimore to volunteer with the 13th Girl Foundation, which is a non profit that gives inner city girls access to lacrosse and leadership training. Money raised from this fundraiser will help support the trip as well as the girls in Baltimore. They also raised money for their end of the year banquet which benefits the entire program and is a great thank you to the players for their hard work throughout the season.
